First Tuesday Art Lectures and Sunday Salons are a wonderful way to learn more about art from the artists themselves!
One of the First Tuesday Art Lectures featured Carolyn O'Bagy Davis discussing Hopi paintings, pottery and baskets. Carolyn's book Hopi Summer was selected as the One Book Arizona 2011 and will be featured in libraries and schools across the state in 2011 making Carolyn a very sought after speaker!
FWA-sponsored salons have featured Michael Ewing (2001 Artist of the Year), Michael Stack (1997 Artist of the Year), and Sandra Clendennen Brown.
